This multi-day tour offers a rich combination of nature, history, and local culture across some of the most iconic destinations in Turkey. Starting in Istanbul, you’ll explore the heart of the Old City with visits to the Hippodrome, the majestic Blue Mosque, the world-famous Hagia Sophia (second floor ticket not included), and the vibrant Grand Bazaar — one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. From there, the journey takes you to the Black Sea region, where the scenery shifts dramatically. You’ll visit the breathtaking Sümela Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliffside in Altındere Valley National Park, and enjoy panoramic views from the Zigana Mountain Summit, 2,000 meters above sea level. The tour continues with a guided exploration of the stunning Karaca Cave, known for its extraordinary stalactites and stalagmites. In the tranquil village of Hamsiköy, you’ll taste the region’s famous rice pudding and experience the peaceful charm of local village life. A visit to the scenic Uzungöl (Long Lake), surrounded by pine forests and mountains, offers the perfect opportunity for nature walks, lakeside photos, and fresh air. Along the way, you’ll dive into the region’s culture and craftsmanship. At the Sürmene Knife Shop, discover traditional knife-making techniques and browse handmade blades.
